A Chicago native, Dan received experience at the renowned School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the American Academy of Art; as well as the College of Dupe and the Naguib School of Sculpture. Meyer is recognized for his enthusiastic application and remarkable combinations of materials that give his work a distinctive and provocative style. Dan's work has been proudly showcased in many recognized museums and universities along with many well-known corporations including McDonalds and Harley Davidson and most noticeable, during the Absolut Vodka 1990s Campaign. Dan brings his unique talents into play in this delightful and playful sculpture, titled "Ms. Bubble", this artwork features remarkable craftsmanship and size, measuring approximately 37.5" inches high x 22.5” inches wide. This extremely detailed sculpture depicts a woman playing the clarinet, his innovative use of lacquered woods in addition to colour and shapes is so provocative and fresh.
